Your clips are stored in the Cloud and Clip Backup is enabled by default. Clip Backup provides a once-daily backup of new motion clips from the Blink Outdoor, Indoor (gen 2), and Mini cameras. You access Clip Backups by Safely ejecting the USB drive and inserting it into your computer.
Where are Blink clips stored?
Clip Backup files are found in a directory named blink_backups. The timestamp of backup files corresponds to our server time zone of UTC, or Greenwich Mean Time. To safely eject the USB drive, tap the Sync Module icon on the home screen of the Blink app. Then tap “Local Storage” to reach the “Safe Eject USB” button.

How do you save Blink camera footage?
To save a Live View in the Blink app:
This button is in the bottom left corner of the main camera image when you are viewing the Home screen. In the Live View screen, the “Save/Discard” toggle controls if that session will be saved to your primary storage location for that system. Tap “Save” to store the session.
Can I save my Blink videos to my computer?
From your home screen, tap the Clip Roll icon at the bottom center to access your clip list. From your clip list, tap the clip you want to save or share, and it begins playing automatically at the top of the list column. Tap the playing video to access Pause and other controls.

On the Home screen, the cloud icon appears at the bottom of each system with a Sync Module as shown in the image. When your USB drive has less than 375 MB of storage space, clips are no longer stored and Clip Backups stop. If you do not have enough free space on your USB drive, clip saving cannot complete. Clip saving resumes when you delete clips to make room, or insert a USB storage drive with more space into the Sync Module 2.
Is Blink going to charge for storage?
