Does Alexa auto work in all cars?
While your car must support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for either of those services to work, an Echo Auto is fully functional in most vehicles without any special gear or attachments, and it works with both iOS and Android devices.
Does Alexa auto work with older cars?
Not all cars support it, however, but there’s a list of cars here that don’t support Bluetooth Echo Auto. For older cars, or anyone with a 3.5mm aux input, then the Echo Auto has you covered too, with none of the Bluetooth foibles.
Why can’t I connect my Echo Auto to my car?
To resolve most issues with Bluetooth connectivity, force close the Alexa app and restart your Echo Auto. Check if Echo Auto is connected to your phone between each troubleshooting step: Force close the Alexa app, and then launch it again. Unplug the micro-USB power cable from your Echo Auto.
