All other panic buttons and alarms will cause the siren to sound. When the Siren batteries are low, the Siren will provide 5 long beeps every time you disarm your alarm. Slide it up and off of its wall bracket, then remove the 6 screws holding the battery cover in place. Replace the batteries with 4 fresh AA batteries.

No, we put in Home mode at night. Everything works except Motion Detectors. If there is any movement in the house at night in the Away mode the alarm will activate. If you want to leave a window or windows open that have Entry Sensors, you can disable the individual sensors.

Just like the keypad, the ‘duress PIN’ can be used to send a silent duress signal to our professional monitoring team. The police will drive to your home, even though your system will appear disarmed to the intruder.

How do I use SimpliSafe without monitoring?
Yes. You can use SimpliSafe without professional monitoring, but you won’t get full access to all of the system’s features. Without professional monitoring, you won’t have access to the SimpliSafe mobile app, won’t be able to view any camera footage, and if there is a break-in, you’ll have to call for help yourself.
The red button located on top of the All-New SimpliSafe Keypad is the panic button. The original SimpliSafe Keypads have a red button located below the numbers. The red panic button must be held for two seconds in order to be activated and to send an alert.
The Keypad is used to arm and disarm your system. Also, in case of an emergency Keypads have a red panic button, which will trigger the alarm if you press and hold it for more than two seconds. Customers can change their system and device settings through their Keypad’s menu as well.
Does the SimpliSafe base station have a siren?

Can SimpliSafe be moved to another house?
You can move your SimpliSafe system to a new home by removing all the components from your old home and setting them up in your new home. All you need is adhesive strips. Then, update your address on your account.
