Secondly, as mentioned above most sewing threads have a silicone treatment which will repel epoxy, so it has to be treated with CP before applying epoxy.

- Third, Use the String to Secure the new Guide Insert Onto the Rod.
- Lastly, Cover the String with Super Glue to Finally Attach to the Rod.

How do you use Permagloss rod finish?
Dip the small piece of foam into the permagloss and apply to the rod in long even strokes from tip to butt. Usually one pass on one side, rotate 180 degrees and a second pass on the other side. Don’t try to go over what you just applied because it sets up very fast and you will just mess up what you just applied.
