- On your mobile device, download the latest version of the Nest app from the App Store (iOS 12.0 or higher).
- Check that you have an eligible Google Account.
- Open the Nest app.

How do I reset my Nest for a new owner?

You can create as many Nest accounts as you wish, as long as each account uses a different email address. You can then create, or accept invitations for, up to two more homes with each account.
To share your Nest Thermostat with another user, start by opening up the Nest app and tapping on the settings gear icon in the top-right corner of the screen. Next, tap on Family. Tap on Add a family member on the next screen. You’ll have two options to choose from: From contacts or Enter email address.
How do I unregister a Nest thermostat?
To remove a Nest Thermostat from your Nest Account:
Choose the thermostat you’d like to remove. Tap the Settings icon in the upper right hand corner. Select Remove thermostat at the bottom of the menu. You’ll then be asked to confirm your choice.
Can I delete my Nest account and start over?

It isn’t currently possible to merge separate Google Accounts. However, if you’d like to transfer your data from one account to another, this may be done on a per product basis.If you signed up for Gmail and didn’t add it to your existing account, now you have two separate accounts.
