Do Durock Stabs Work With Gmmk Pro?

Early production runs of the GMMK PRO’s aluminum and brass plates were not fully compatible with some 3rd party stabilizers (such as Durock). After receiving customer feedback about this, we reworked the metal switch plates to better accommodate these 3rd party stabs and these new plates have already begun rolling out.

What stabs fit the GMMK pro?

GMMK PRO Product Update All GMMK PRO plates ( aluminum, brass, and polycarbonate) are now fully compatible with most 3rd party stabilizers. Many of the units that shipped recently should already have this compatibility.

Can I use VIA with GMMK pro?

In addition to the software itself, the keyboard is compatible with open source software such as VIA and QMK for the ultimate customizability. The GMMK Pro comes with enough onboard memory to save one customized profile, however with the software open, you can access more.

Does GMMK Pro have QMK support?

QMK, or Quantum Mechanical Keyboard, is an open-source, community-centered configuration tool for keyboards and other input devices. The GMMK PRO supports QMK for remapping its keymap, allowing users to customize their board. QMK software is handy for creating layers, moving around specific keys, adding functions, etc.

Does the GMMK Pro still have input lag?

In its stock form, the GMMK Pro has pretty atrocious input latency. The first fix for that was to install QMK firmware on it which did offer a pretty noticeable improvement but at the cost of losing RGB functionality (that’s not the case anymore).

Does the GMMK PRO use screw in stabs?

Usually with barebones kits, we receive plate-mounted stabilizers, but not in this instance, because with the GMMK Pro, we get their screw-in stabilizers, or as Glorious calls them the GOAT (Greatest of all Time) Stabilizers.

Can you replace GMMK PRO stabs?

Note: Replacing the lubricant is not a requirement; doing so comes down to your lubing preference. Congratulations! You have successfully modified your stabilizers. Complete the process by screwing them back into their respective spots on the PCB and re-assembling your GMMK PRO.

We actually did look into doing wireless for the GMMK Pro. I’d say it might be more suited for the original GMMK, if we were to refresh that in the future. But from what we’ve seen, people that have a wireless keyboard love to travel with it. And the GMMK Pro weighs about four pounds!

Does the GMMK have software?
