All batteries have the potential to leak or corrode over time. I have never had a problem or seen a problem with button cell batteries.

What leaks out of batteries?

- Store Batteries in the Fridge When It’s Extremely Hot Outdoors.
- Look for Bulk Batteries, So You’re Not Trying to Make a Smaller Pack Last.
