Sharing a Ring Video with the Ring Team
- Log into your web account at ring.com/account.
- Click on the Dashboard tab.
- Click on the video you want to share.
- Click on the grey Share button to below your video.
- Click on the e-mail envelope.
- Send the file to [email protected].

- Log into your Ring account at ring.com/account using the same username and password that you use for the Ring app.

- Click on the video you want to share.
- Click the arrow icon on the bottom right of the video for Share options.
- Follow the prompts to share a video.
They are the videos recorded and saved by your Ring devices that are only accessible to you and to the Shared Users on your account. No one except you and your Shared Users can view or access your private videos.
How do I save a Ring video to my hard drive?
When you view your videos on the Ring cloud, in the Win 10 app there is a “Save” button on the screen while viewing, click on it and that video downloads to your local hard drive.

Are Ring videos public?
After a share link has been created, the video recording may be viewed and downloaded by anyone with the share link ID. Additionally, you can make your videos publicly available by posting them on the Internet (including by posting them to the public social media app Neighbors by Ring).
A Shared User is a person who has permission to watch live video feed, view video recordings, and receive notifications or alerts for a Ring device that you own. You can give a Shared User the ability to view one or more of the devices on your Ring account. You can grant or revoke Shared User access at any time.
Where are Ring videos stored?
