Wyze Plug connects direct to your WiFi so there’s no need for a Hub. 5GHz networks are not supported.

Yes, it will still work without WiFi. You will not be able to control the plug remotely using the Wyze app but you can still turn things on/off manually with the physical on/off button on the side of the Wyze Plug.
What is WYZE compatible with?
Additional Notes. The Wyze app is compatible with Android (7.0+) and iOS (12.0+) devices only. Using the Wyze app on an older device that doesn’t meet the requirements may cause compatibility issues.

How to connect Google Assistant:
- Set up your device with your Wyze app.
- Make sure the firmware for your Wyze device is the latest version by going to Account > Firmware Upgrade.

- Tap Set up device.
- Tap Works with Google.
Why does my Wyze Plug keep going offline?
First, ensure that the outlet or fixture that the Wyze Plug is plugged into isn’t controlled by a switch (such as a light switch or power strip.) If so, make sure it is turned on. Next, try and power-cycle the Plug by removing it from the outlet, waiting at least 5 seconds, and then plugging it back in.
Does WYZE work with Apple home?
Wyze Cam v3 does not currently support HomeKit or HKSV at the moment.
Can you put Wyze on TV?

Can I cast my Wyze camera to my TV?

How do I connect my WYZE outlet to Alexa?
Link Alexa with your Wyze Account
- Open up the Wyze app, go into your Account settings, then tap on “Works With” to link Alexa to your Wyze account.
- You can also link your Wyze account by asking Alexa to Enable Wyze skill.
- Once enabled, follow the on-screen instructions to link your Wyze account to Alexa.
What happens when you unplug a WYZE Cam?
If you unplug your camera then plug it in again in the same WiFi environment your camera will automatically reconnect to the WiFi network. You do not need to re-enter the WiFi information again. It may take a minute or two for your camera to initialize and get connected to the network.
