- Insert a compatible, formatted HDD/SSD into the Docking Station.
- Unzip the downloaded file and copy the ATOMNJV.
- Eject the HDD/SSD (according to operating system guidelines).
- Insert the HDD/SSD into the Ninja V.
- Power the Ninja V on and the firmware update process will begin automatically.
What does the kangaroo mean on Atomos Ninja V?
The Atomos Ninja V does not come with any media. Someone else chose that media for you. The ‘kangaroo’ icon means that your drive, whatever it is, is not adequate for the bitrates you are using. The Atomos web site contains suggestions for media that work for specific video settings.
