How far behind should a Dipsy Diver go?
15′-25′ leads are what I use. I mainly run meat and F/F on my divers all the time. What I really like about the longer leads is that once the diver hits the rod tip I can handline the fish in very easily and it prevents tangles with other lines and less lost fish.
