The Blink cameras, when armed record clips based on motion detection only. They do not offer continuous recording options though you can leave them armed for motion detection for any interval of time.

These mounts are also more secure that those that come with the Blink XT camera. With the old mounts, the camera just snapped into the mount making it very easy to steal. These, while obviously not theft proof (and they don’t claim to be), are more involved in their mounting.

What does retrigger mean on Blink?
The delay between clips or retrigger time gives you enough time to Disarm your system. By default, the system will capture a 5 second clip, wait for the retrigger time of 30 seconds and if motion continues, capture another 5 second clip. This retrigger time time can be configured under camera settings.

The price difference is best explained by the number of devices you can have under one account. With the Blink Subscription Plus Plan, you only need one subscription plan to cover all of your Blink devices, whereas a Blink Basic subscription will only apply to one camera.
