What will dissolve araldite?
For Araldite Super Glue: residues can be removed using warm water and soap water. For Araldite Epoxy adhesives: Cured residue or exuded adhesive may be destroyed by immersion in commercial paint strippers, such as Nitromors or Multistrip, and these are available from most retail paint suppliers.

What softens araldite?
A hot-air blow gun works if the item is too big for the oven. Direct the gun at the item until the glue begins softening and starts melting. Try applying a small amount of paint stripper to the glue and waiting 20 minutes. The paint stripper should start softening the glue, which lets you scrape it off.
Does petrol dissolve araldite?

How do I get rid of the 5 minute Araldite?
To remove product after cure, mechanical action (scraping or sanding) is recommended. Since the product is chemically resistant solvent will NOT dissolve this product. Allow for longer bonding times in colder weather. Bond strength will soften above 60°C but strength is retained when temperature returns to normal.
